The Kaunertal-Fendels glacial region has many art and culture treasures, from several past centuries, which no one would have ever expected in this previously poor high mountain valley. The cultural riches from both today and the past make a visit worthwhile.

Feichten parish church
The three magnificent high alters from the late Baroque church originate from ‘Wiesele’, a former pilgrimage church. The altars and pulpit were made by master wood carver Andreas Kölle from Fendels.
