Easy to moderately difficult; short or long hiking trails and many accessible to families with pushchairs

Anyone who puts hiking and natural experiences at the top of their list can look forward to numerous hikes on easy to moderately difficult trails. Most of the routes can be easily tackled with a pushchair in tow as well. In addition to short walks and strolls, there are also longer hikes taking up to 4-5 hours. Each hike has its own natural beauty, hence you are rewarded with flowing mountain meadows, roaring waterfalls, Alpine pastures and light-flooded forest paths.

Here are our tips for hiking on Fendels Summer Mountain,
with our favourite tip being the hike to the "Fallende Bach" waterfall. "Fallende Bach", meaning "falling stream", gets its name from the mountain stream that plunges over a rocky ledge 10 metres wide and 40 metres deep down the cliff edge. Depending on the position of the sun's rays, when you stand in front of the waterfall you can often see a rainbow glittering in the spray before you! There is also a via ferrata (climbing route) in this rock formation.
