Mountaineering, hiking & climbing at the Kaunertal Glacier
A summer holiday in the Kaunertal has many highlights in store for hikers: Set off on a sporty mountain tour, explore the many lakes around the glacier at a leisurely pace or marvel at the sparkling night sky on a starry hike, for example. The “Holderli Seppl” via ferrata impresses all climbing fans with its fantastic mountain scenery.

Kaunertal Glacier Road: pleasure ride with panoramic views
To get to know the Kaunertal Glacier in all its facets in summer, a ride on the Kaunertal Glacier Road is a must. On the way to the glacier centre at 2,750 m, you pass through all 6 alpine altitude levels – the route is an experience for motorcyclists in particular.

Fendels Summer Mountain:
Adventure paradise for families
A trip on holiday to the Summermountain Fendels means fun and action for the whole family. Adventurous visitors will find numerous hiking routes, a mountain cart track, various themed trails and an exciting children’s programme. Trail bike fans also get their money’s worth: the Wildbachtrail takes you down to Ried in the valley at high speed.

Would you prefer to set off straight away? The cable cars on the Kaunertal Glacier are open for you every day in summer and shorten the journey to the leisure paradise.
